LIV Golf has its first trading-card licensee, as Panini has signed on with the fledgling golf circuit. It’s also Panini’s initial foray into golf.

Digital trading cards are expected shortly and physical cards under Panini’s Prizm brand should be at retail later in the third quarter, to be followed by a high-end line of LIV Golf trading cards, which will include tour memorabilia and autographs. Panini and LIV Golf will work on cross-promotional opportunities that will include onsite activations, and “Casebreaking” with players during tournaments.

Negotiations were led by LIV Golf SVP/Global Head of Partnerships Monica Fee and Panini America SVP/Marketing & Athlete Relations Jason Howarth.
