Cross The Ages is an upcoming trading card game based on Polygon. It has the first digital-to-physical card transformation system that allows a player to convert digital NFT cards to physical NFC cards. Read on to learn more about Cross The Ages, its team, roadmap, and the recently released Runner minigame.
Cross The Ages is a science fiction and fantasy NFT digital card game inspired by the book series of the same name. The game has a unique concept of converting digital cards into physical ones, thus creating a unique experience by merging the digital and physical worlds. The game aims to allow players to have digital assets and bring them to life. Their vision is to launch a series of games under the Cross The Ages universe and create an ecosystem where anyone can access the game and start collecting cards.
In this NFT collectible card game, players engage in intense turn-based duels. Each match lasts an average of 5 minutes. The goal of the game is to conquer and control the maximum area with the battlefield. Each game begins when both players have 20 digital cards. 10 cards are randomly selected to form the player’s deck and the fight begins.
How is Cross The Ages different from other collectible card games?
Cross The Ages is a free to play trading card game that allows anyone with a phone or desktop computer to enter the CTA multiverse and start collecting digital cards. Cross The Ages is the only card game that enables a complete cycle of the value chain from digital cards in the phone via NFT on a blockchain to physical cards in the real world with NFC (Near Field Communication). The process of incentivizing missions, challenges and rewards in the game is designed in such a way that players will benefit from the game and player retention will increase exponentially.
How will the physical and digital cards be distributed and marketed?
To distribute physical cards, Cross The Ages has partnered with Cardmarket, the largest marketplace for physical cards. Each and every card will have NFC to protect it from counterfeiting. NFC ensures authenticity, provides asset history through transparent traceability, and guarantees that the person in possession of the card is the rightful owner.
The digital cards will be minted and traded on markets such as OpenSea and on the domestic market. The home market will charge limited gas fees as the game is based on the Polygon blockchain.

Call to action sheet: The CTA token is a utility token required for chain activities in Cross The Ages. It also provides special access to tournaments, exclusive content, and valuable NFTs in the CTA universe. CTA tokens are required to mint and merge NFTs and print NFTs on physical NFT cards. CTA token holders also have voting power in the CTA metaverse. Tokens are required to participate in tournaments and guild competitions.
Gold Token: The Gold token is an in-game token and a “soft currency”. The Gold token allows for merging digital cards in-game and is “off-chain”, therefore non-tradable.
Crystal Token: Crystal tokens are also “soft currency” and can be earned within the game. Crystals are used to purchase card packs, skins, unlock booster packs, and mint cards. Crystals can be exchanged for CTA tokens in the in-game market.

About TCG Runner Game
The Cross The Ages development team has announced a minigame within the Cross The Ages universe called “TCG Runner”. TCG Runner is a pixel art runner game where you play as a game character with a motive to jump and avoid obstacles to earn bonuses.
TCG Runner is an infinite pixel art runner game like “Temple Run” or “Subway Surfer” games and comes with seven characters from the Cross The Ages universe. It is both hard and fascinating. There are a total of 7 characters in the game, and these characters have elemental affinity: Fire, Water, Nature, Light, Air, and Dark. The game is endless, but the difficulty increases as the playing time increases. The game is also instantly over if you can’t get past a hurdle.
The developers of Cross The Ages have only released the Stage 1 game at this time. Stage 2 and 3 game features will be released soon. A player must first select a character from a pool of 7 available characters. The game has a top view and the character will be at the bottom of the screen. The score and indicator will be displayed in the upper left corner of the screen, and the distance traveled will be displayed in the upper right corner. A player must avoid all obstacles and collect bonuses in this endless game. The longer you survive, the more bonuses you can collect.
What is Cross the Ages?
Cross The Ages is a metaverse where digital artists, gamers and developers build new cities and create games within the CTA universe. Players can earn NFTs through adventures and can also earn real-world collectibles. The Cross The Ages universe has two worlds that share the single continent of Artellium. The continent Arkhante is to the west and the city-continent Mantris to the east. Cross The Ages can be considered more precisely as a dystopia. The first season will feature 365 Arkhante and Mantris cards with rarities ranging from Common, Uncommon, Rare, Super Rare, Exclusive, and Unique. CTA’s mission is to enable players to earn valuable NFTs, lend in-game assets, and stake CTA tokens.
